5 Plus Size Spring dresses that Stylish Swish women and their wardrobes simply can’t resist.

As our days and nights warm into Spring/summer evenings I have found my top 5 favourite dresses for this new season.

  1. Drape Dress.

Who can resist the beautiful blue tones and unique fabric combination of Swish’s Spring Blue Drape dress?

‘I love the no fuss seamless neckline and the gossamer film of chiffon falling from the waist.

It is unexpected and heightens the tactile glamour of this dress.

This dress is an absolute stunner!’ Simmon Wagner, Style Blogger.

Julie Fewster a Swish customer purchased the Drape dress from Swish Malvern and then flew to Sydney with her partner confident in the fact that she had the perfect dress for the celebration. Julie added her own personal styling and finished her look with a champagne clutch and champagne pointy toed heel which married perfectly with the beautiful blue of the Drape Dress. Julie accessorised her look with a delicate and long fine-gold necklace, her wrist accessorised with one simple gold bangle worn high on her forearm.

Julie said she looked and felt great!

2. The presence of power in one single Spring pop of colour

‘What I love about this dress is the high-quality feel of the cool fabric and the stunning
statement of strong colour. With one simple fascinator, a gorgeous dash of lipstick,
a light breezy jacket, this outfit is your winning pick for
a Melbourne Cup event!’

Pink and passionate this dress is statement stylish for a summer day event and when teamed with a light jacket, like The Tiger Lily Crush Jacket as above and a strappy heel, this dress would be perfect for a day to evening wedding event or Spring Racing Carnival event.

3.Blaze a trail in this season’s Spring Cameo Dress.

Can you imagine wearing this - the Swish Cameo Dress
- to a Spring garden wedding, topped off with perhaps a little hat inspiration from a favourite romantic comedy? (I'm thinking four weddings and a funeral). The pattern is bold and punctuated with stark contrast between the deep navy blues then surprisingly soft and melting with soft tones of grey blue and purest white.

I would team this look with a New York Apple Red manicure, bold lipstick and simple strappy sandals or heels’.

  1. I’ve never met an animal print I didn’t like.

Undisputed Fashion Icon Diana Vreeland once said...

‘I’ve never met a leopard print I didn’t like.’

Diana was both stylish fearless, limitless and wore her self-confidence dictated by rules she set herself. Fashion is fun and meant to be a self-expression of enjoyment and the freedom to choose and what says that better than a beautiful animal print. This season Swish embraces this theme in the Animal Magic Dress.

‘I personally think there is always room for a little or a lot of animal print in your wardrobe. This animal magic dress is floaty, soft and fearless. I love it!’

If you are not a convert yet why not try a little and make a bold statement this season with the new season Spring Animal Magic dress. You might surprise yourself!

  1. For pure luxury and glamour – The Calypso Jacket

Ok this my final pick is not a dress as such but more a jacket with the appearance of a shirt dress – albeit a very glamorous shirt dress. Pictured here, the Calypso Jacket is worn over a simple jersey dress which adds to the illusion of making this jacket look like an elegant and stylish dress.

The jacket’s blending of colour and pattern is an absolute knock out – and an outstanding choice for any dinner cruise holiday event or significant celebration. Imagine wearing this as Mother of the Bride or Groom. You will feel on top of the world.
