An organised closet full of easy-peasy-mix-and-match awesome outfits, really is a sight to behold.

So why not take advantage of the change in season, to take stock of what works in your wardrobe and what no longer works for you and get ready to overhaul your wardrobe, with a few sparkling new transitional updates.

But before we look at buying new pieces let’s take stock of what we already own.

Here are some great ways to start…

1. Keep your wardrobe organised.

‘I love an organized wardrobe, it gives me an amazing sense of calm and satisfaction. PLUS, it makes getting dressed in the morning so much easier!’
AND in one simple glance you can identify the gaps that need your attention and a shopping excursion to replenish, quick smart.

Marie Kondo the author of ‘The Life Changing Magic of Tidying’ and three other books is a magician when it comes to organization solutions.

She can roll away socks, t shirts and bras and quadruple the amount of empty space about your home.

3 easy steps - Let's get started.

1.First, arrange your garments together by colour, then you can group each colour way into style groups.
2.Style groups - I hang my tops first, working up in hanging size length to shirts followed by dresses, then my shorter jackets, boleros through to my full-length coats.
I live in Melbourne – Melbourne is a great city to wear jackets in. I love the chillier months so I can unpack my favourite long length coats - a mix of basic classic colours from white, camel, navy – and some new season lovelies, like pink, a 2018 new favourite - through to Black’.
3.FOLD like a professional – Fold pants, jerseys and sleepwear like a store professional and maximize the available space you have.

2. Identify the gaps in your wardrobe and replenish and update.

I truly enjoy and get a great deal of satisfaction from having an organized wardrobe. I like to keep it simple by identifying the gaps and setting out with a plan so I don’t go crazy and buy pieces that;

A Don’t match with anything I own.
B Double up unnecessarily - like white silk shirts or black skirts.
C are too expensive and I can’t wear often enough to justify the cost-for-wear factor.

Look 1: Update your classic black top/shirt

The Meteor Contrast Top

A black top is a must in every wardrobe. Men and women. Alongside a classic white shirt, a black top is one of the most wearable and versatile pieces in my wardrobe. This piece needs updating every season due to wear and tear. I love the classic cowl neckline and stunning pattern of colour along the hemline designed to draw the eye in plus size fashion this season.

 Look 2: The Statement Coat

Wow, the sheer stunning glamour appeal of this evening coat is drop dead undeniable.

A soft navy with sumptuous floral details etched delicately throughout this gorgeous evening coat. Absolutely perfect for a Mother of the Bride outfit. Elegant and classic – the best combination of true style. The Burnout Jacket is a knock out and the streamlined silhouette is flattering and chic for all our plus size gorgeous curves. This jacket ticks all my boxes.
