Spring racing can create a multitude of emotions. Some wait the year around just to be able to show off that outfit they've been planning since Winter. Others can't bear the thought of standing in the sun all day, lining up to spend money on something we don't even care about!
For those ladies, we hear you. This week we have decided to share with you the ultimate recipe to an at-home spring racing themed party.
It is the perfect way to enjoy all things festive in the racing season, without the nasties. Well stress no more, as we show you some easy and affordable decoration, food and beverage ideas for your Spring Racing party.
THE FOOD
A spring racing party is supposed to be more of a cocktail party, as opposed to a sit-down meal, so we suggest pieces that are easy for the ladies (or lads) to eat while standing. Here are a few of our favorite recipes here at head office;

THE DECORATIONS
What you'll need;
- The perfect invitation (we suggest the ones here)
- Fresh flowers (a flower wall if you REALLY want to go all out!)
- A large piece of linen , muslin or sheer curtain
- Outdoor setting
A great idea to create the perfect outdoor setting, without spending big bucks hiring equipment, is to simply create a DIY marquee over your existing outdoor setting (as above). As I said earlier, a great way to do this is with a large piece of linen, muslin or sheer curtain.
Once you've got that set up, the perfect addition are some cocktail bars around the backyard (for 20 guests we suggest 3-4 cocktail bars) you can find some amazing ones here.
THE OUTFIT
